Villa Artemis is located in one of the most privileged and famous areas of Crete, a few steps away from the traditional village of Plaka. The magical views of the open sea of Mirabello Bay and the famous island of Spinalonga, the quiet environment as well as its short distance from the village are the perfect combination for your dreamy family holidays.

The main villa sleeps 7 people comfortably & consists of 4 bedrooms, with well-appointed open-plan living.

Villa Artemis is a beautiful villa on its own grounds for up to 9 people overlooking Spinalonga Island and the stunning Mirabello Bay.

The main villa, freshly redecorated and refurnished, offers 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom, 1 single bedroom, a main bathroom, a separate WC, and a large open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area. Well-appointed balconies provide vistas across the garden, to the sea and surrounding mountains. Villa Artemis is fully enclosed in its own private garden, with drive and parking accessed by electric gates.

A separate apartment, with its own access, offers a double bedroom, open plan living and kitchen area, and a shower room with WC. Please note that the apartment is not rented separately but is offered for additional rent for extended family and friends of clients of the main villa.

The main villa and apartment are both well-equipped and comfortably furnished. The bedrooms are air-conditioned. The main villa has Wi-Fi access to enable internet connection for leisure and work.

Villa Artemis is superbly located on the outskirts of the traditional village of Plaka, near Elounda. In Plaka, there are regular boat trips to Spinalonga Island as well as local supermarkets and some excellent tavernas. From the villa it is a short walk of 750 meters, on the way to Plaka, to the beautiful stone beach of Plaka provides truly stunning clear waters for swimming. The town of Elounda is nearby, as is the major cosmopolitan town of Aghios Nikolaos with its many shops, tavernas, and bars. The villa offers easy access to a myriad of traditional Cretan villages and beautiful countryside across the Lasithi region. There is a regular bus service from Plaka to Aghios Nikolaos.

Villa Artemis is well located for a vast array of places of interest in Eastern Crete. Unspoilt Crete, around the Bay of Mirambello and to the South and East of the Island can be accessed via a good road network. Within easy reach is the Island of Spinalonga, Elounda, Aghios Nikolaos, the traditional Cretan village of Kritsa, the Byzantine church of Panagia Kera, and the ancient Doric settlement of Lato. The many villages of the region can be explored by car, bike, or on foot. Further afield, there are stunning drives to the Cretan world of wine, which is undergoing a successful renaissance, with many wine merchants producing excellent wines and offering wine tastings and guided tours of their estates.
